The view from Salcombe waterfront

Salcombe occurs as town in the South Hams district of Devon, England on the Kingsbridge Estuary. Originally the fishing port, the town is currently the centre for yachting. a notable feature of the town come the ruins of Fort Charles. Ferries sail from either Salcombe to Kingsbridge and to East Portlemouth.
